Salesperson -vs- Adviser
I was thinking who would people rather work with a salesperson or an adviser? Here are key differences between the two that I could think of, if you know of anymore, please add to the list.
Salesperson
Adviser
After breaking the two down it was obvious to me who I would rather work with... I am sure everyone has had an encounter with both an adviser and a salesperson, which one was a more comfortable experience?
I want to hear you thoughts and stories on this topic.
Salesperson
- Pushy
- Phone Quote
- Don't Care
- Outgoing
- Manipulative
- Out for themselves
Adviser
- Knowledgeable
- Good Listener
- Educator
- Client-First
- Helpful
- Integrity - Ethical
- Dependable

I have to agree with you. I can't stand salepeople. They are way to pushing and don't even listen to what you have to say. They don't even care about you either. They are very fake and agian PUSHY! So, I would much rather deal with someone who hears my feelings and thoughts on things and also is not pushy. I would like an adviser or a salesperson any day.

Heather, thank you for your comment. I am finding more and more people are getting put up with the pushy salesperson. When it comes to your insurance protection, having an agent that will actually listen to your needs is very important. After all insurance is there to protect your assets and future earnings, not your agents.
